Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions regarding our digital imaging protocols, patient safety measures, and diagnostic output delivery. If you are a clinical partner or a patient with a specific inquiry, our team is always here to provide detailed guidance.

01

Do I need a prior appointment for standard 2D scans?

No prior appointment is required for standard 2D imaging such as Panoramic, Cephalometric, or Bitewing scans. You can visit our center directly during operational hours. Online appointments are strictly reserved for specialized 3D CBCT imaging to ensure efficient scheduling.

02

How long does it take to receive my diagnostic results?

We pride ourselves on instant delivery. All 2D and 3D digital imaging outputs are rendered immediately after the scan. The data is instantly pushed to our secure cloud system for your clinical provider to access, and physical copies (CD, DVD, or USB) can be prepared upon request.

03

Are the radiation levels safe during the imaging process?

Absolutely. Our facility utilizes state-of-the-art digital equipment engineered with ultra-low dose radiation protocols. This modern technology minimizes exposure to a fraction of traditional medical scans while delivering significantly higher contrast and sharper diagnostic resolution.

04

Why is a 3D CBCT scan preferred over a standard panoramic film?

While panoramic films provide an excellent 2D overview, a 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan delivers zero-distortion volumetric data. This allows surgeons and orthodontists to cross-sectionally analyze bone density, track nerve pathways, and map sinus structures perfectly before implants or complex surgeries.

05

How long does the actual scanning procedure take?

The actual capture process is exceptionally fast, typically taking between 9 to 20 seconds depending on whether it is a targeted 2D view or a full-mouth volumetric 3D scan. Including patient positioning and protective lead apron preparation, your entire session will be completed within a few minutes.
